ALL GAMES WILL START AT 7-30 ON THE DOT.
Poker night will be once a month on Saturday nights (second Saturday of the month).
The games will be no limit Texas hold'em.
Other poker nights can be run at any time but will not count in the league.
Tournaments are limited to 18 players, any players not being able play on the arranged night will receive no points.
Their places will be taken by reserves when ever possible.
As you can see the league games now start at 7-30 on the dot.
Some players make the start time every week and some don't.
This season the first hands will be dealt at 7-30, if you are not there you will be blinded out.
We are all aware that there are players waiting to join the league, most of these players are willing to stand in when other players can not make it.
This can only happen when we know players are not turning up.
Players know that the league game is second Saturday of every month.
All I can do is assume all players are playing unless they let me know.
The clock will start at 7-30, you will be blinded out till you arrive, if a player then does not turn up, that player will lose 800 pts, if any player does this twice then he will be disqualified from the league.
I understand emergencies happen, these will not be a problem for me or the player.
I think a fair day for me to find out is at least 7 days before, this gives me time to get a reserve in.
The reserves will be eligible for any money or points they win, (so a reserve could win the league).
The best 10 results form 12 for each player will be used to find players league position, in the event of a tie
then all 12 results will be used just for the tied players.

The rules have now changed, there will no more hands declared dead, any players breaking the rules will be punished with sitting out a full orbit of the table.
Mobile phones are not allowed at the table, any players that uses their phone whilst in a hand that hand will be deemed dead, the player will also receive the penalty of sitting out a full orbit of the table, that player will lose his sb and bb.
Any players that uses their phone whilst not in a hand but is sat at the table receive the penalty of sitting out a full orbit of the table, that player will lose his sb and bb

It has now become normal for players to leave the table knowing that their hand will be folded when it is on them to act.
At the moment there is no rule on this but can all players remember this is not fair to other players, It is still like playing out of turn and might give someone an advantage.
